Caleb's 5th Birthday

I still cannot believe my baby boy is 5 years old. It's crazy!!! His party turned out amazing, he had a blast, and I did not stress myself out too badly with decorating.

So glad it was a beautiful day and not too windy.

Monster marshmello pops that took me 2 hours to make...OCD! haha

The birthday banner! Loved it!

A friend from church made this amazing cake for him. It was so stinking cute!

He loved his monster shirt I made him :)

Awww...my baby is now 5 :)

Everyone was making fun because the waters were not cold. I could not mess up the labels..lol

My new craft space!

I have had this old peg board laying around my house for about a year now and I decided it was time to make my craft space more exciting! I still have a few more things I would like to do...like I want to make a burlap lamp shade and put a lamp on my desk but I pretty proud of how it looks right now. Time to get crafting :)

Rag wreaths

I have seen so many cute homemade wreaths and I found an adorable rag wreath from Inspiring Creations that inspired me to make my own! :) It was super easy, just takes a little patience and time!

Supplies:
12 inch wire wreath
5-8 Assorted fabrics/ribbons or you can use 8-10. {I was trying to use up my old fabric so I only used 5-6 different fabrics including burlap}.

Step 1: Cut out your fabric strips into about 1 inch thick by 6-8 inches long. The easiest way to do this is snip the fabric and then rip it. I used burlap as well, but you can't just rip burlap so I had to cut it and I also had to cut the ribbon.

Step 2: Tie a piece of fabric on your wreath in a double knot. Continue until your wreath is very full.
LOVE this country chic one :)
 Simple and sweet! :)

Parties, parties, and more parties!

Well this month I will be turning 26, my husband will be 28, and in April Caleb will be 5 and Carter will be 2. This month and next are gonna be crazy busy! So, just today I decided I better start thinking of some ideas for parties. My 4 year old originally told me he wanted a Super Mario party, but we were in Target the other day and he saw a monster pinata and now wants a monster party! I'm actually happy with his change of heart because it's a lot easier to make monsters than Mario LOL. Then I decided for my little one I would do a robot themed party. Easy enough!! I found some adorable party ideas that have inspired me.

Check them out here at Design Dazzle

I will be busy BUSY for the next month and I will post pictures as I make things! Well, I'm so sleepy so think I'm gonna hit the sack early tonight. Night y'all :)

Shabby Chic home decor :)

I'm almost finished with this project. All I have to do is add some ribbon so they can be hung! LOVE how they turned out!

So, I had found these cute bird pictures at the Dollar Tree. Had some shabby chic scrapbook paper that I got from Hobby Lobby and 2 flat canvas'. I mod podged my scrapbook paper on the canvas', then put the pictures on, a little distressed ink and Wha-laa! Oh yeah, I'm also obsessed with burlap right now, so I made this cute burlap flower to go on it!

Enjoy :)

A few of my very first projects :)

Happy Wednesday!! Today I thought I would share some of my first projects and tutorials so you can make your own. :)

The first project I would like to share with you is a family rules canvas! I had first seen this from the pleated poppy and I LOVED it so much I had to make my own!

My Rules:
Put God first
Be happy
Always tell the truth
Work Hard
Forgiveness is a must
Be thankful
Obey
Never leave angry
Say your prayers

The pleated poppy has a great tutorial! So to make your own just click here!

Ok this next project is super easy and so much fun! Recycled Formula Cans! They make GREAT organizers for just about anything your little heart desires :)

Check out a tutorial here from Crafts Unleashed and get organized!!

The last project I'm gonna share with you today is also super easy and cheap to make. Wooden photo blocks. Super cute!!

I found these wood photo blocks at Micheals for $1.99.

What you need:
Wood photo block
scrapbook paper
mod podge
Any stickers or embellishments you want to use

Ok so all you do is pick out some cute scrapbook paper and cut it to fit your block. I cut 4 pieces. 2 to fit the front and back and 2 for the sides. Now time to mod podge it on the block! After you mod podge it on do another layer of mod podge over it.

Note: If you want to write on them with permant marker or something, do it BEFORE you put the mod podge over your paper.

Then pick out some pictures and your all done!! I made these as centerpieces for my sons first birthday and they turned out adorable!
Sorry for the bad pic :)

Hope you enjoy and have a great day!
xoxo

About Me

My Life :)
My name is Tiffany, I'm a born again christian, and a Sinner Saved by Grace! I was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. I have been married for 5 years to an amazing man! I'm a SAHM of two precious boys (LOVE THEM)! I love Jesus, singing, theatre, broadway, crafts, good style, vintage things, pictures, hello kitty, dancing, lots of shopping, decorating, enormous sunglasses, thunderstorms, Barbra Striesand, food, taking pictures, chocolate, musicals, cuddling, shoes, lip gloss, sundays, chunky monkey ice cream, karaoke, horses, coffee, sunflowers, crab legs, movies, cats, shabby chic things, thrift stores, and coke! (cola...that is).
Sitting on my couch with mod podge, scrapbook paper, fabric, and two toddlers running around me Is never something I would have seen myself doing! It all started with a girls craft night and myself intensively concentrating on my first project while my friends laughed at how OCD I was being :) I have learned to relax a bit more and have also discovered that this crafting thing was more than just a hobby but something I truly love and have a passion for!
I started this blog to share my projects, ideas, and to inspire others to get creative!
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24
